A skincare line launched by two sydney Sisters topped $1 million in sales just 15 months after starting the business as a trial on a kitchen table.
Next Level Skin was created by Nel Mokhtar and Palvasha Naziry after Nel gave birth to her second son and developed severe dermatitis.
Unable to use medicated creams and tablets while breastfeeding, she began researching science-backed natural remedies and created her own at-home solutions.
The company that grew out of those experiences hit the $1 million mark this week and is now making $100,000 a month – without spending anything on advertising.
Skin-saving products – including an ultra-repairing balm, supercharged face oil and deep-cleansing clay mask – priced at $55-$65 have been hailed as miracle cures because their popularity spread by word of mouth.

Skin-saving products have been hailed as miracle cures and have amazing results on a range of issues, from eczema and acne to normal signs of aging.
Nel confessed to FEMAIL that she didn’t pay much attention to skincare before she developed serious issues of her own.
But she said she was disappointed to find that even skincare options labeled as ‘natural’ came with a warning for breastfeeding mothers.
When her sons developed eczema while she suffered from dermatitis, Nel said she was driven to find a solution by creating her own products.
“I would prepare them on the kitchen table, order things online and mix it all up. It was pretty quick once I had the ingredients, I could make a product within hours,” she said.

The affordable skincare range ranges from $55 to $65 and includes an Ultra Healing Balm (left), Supercharged Face Oil (right) and a Deep Cleansing Clay Mask. The range uses natural ingredients with scientifically proven effects, such as calendula oil, cucumber seed oil and Moroccan lava clay.

“I blended nine of the most potent natural and organic oils I found in the literature and used them on my own skin. It was an experience for sure, but I immediately started to see drastic improvements on my skin.
Nel said her homemade balms produce results “within days.”
“It was as if I had never had any skin problems. My skin looked better than it did even before giving birth,” she said.
She then offered to help her sister Palvasha, who had spent “thousands of dollars” over two years trying to cure her adult acne.
“My sister used it and the acne was completely gone in four to six weeks. She said she felt the effects immediately,” Nel said.
Palvasha convinced Nel to bring the products to market, even loaning him $5,000 to launch Next Level Skin.
“She said, ‘you have to share this with people,'” Nel recalled.

The sisters ensure that their skincare products are 100% free of toxins, artificial fragrances and preservatives.
They use natural ingredients with scientifically proven effects, such as calendula oil, cucumber seed oil and Moroccan lava clay.
Nel said she received feedback from thousands of people who had experienced the same skin issues that she and her family had.
The brand’s popularity grew with customers showing off their transformations online, as Next Level Skin had never run paid advertising.
Nel said their customers are “ordinary people” from 30 different countries.
“We’ve received hundreds of messages and transformation photos from customers who swear by our products,” she said.
“Their results and hearing their feedback on how beautiful their skin is now and how much more confident they are with their skin means the world to us. It’s important for people to know they need to invest in good skin care. and not just to cover them.
The popular Ultra Healing Balm is so gentle it can be used on babies and aims to stimulate skin tissue, promote collagen production and repair damaged skin.
Supercharged facial oil is designed to transform acne prone skin, dry and dehydrated skin, eczema, dermatitis, pigmentation, redness, fine lines and wrinkles and oily skin.

Customers have left rave reviews for the products.
‘I love the serum and the balm. My face, neck and hands have never looked so good! It keeps my skin soft and hydrated all day! Highly recommend,’ one woman wrote online.
‘I have no words for this product. Just saying WOW,” another wrote about the face oil.
Nel said she was “constantly humbled” by the company’s meteoric rise.
“The day I started the business, my husband told me, ‘don’t worry if nothing sells, these things take time.’ But by the time he got home from work, we already had sold,” she said with a laugh.
