Super Bowl 2023 in Arizona was a star affairwith stars like Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox, Drake and Cher all heading to the desert to party before the big game.
The festivities started Thursday evening with Gin Blossoms and Jimmy Eat World – both Phoenix natives – entertaining the downtown crowd at Hance Park. The event marked the first time the two ’90s staples took the stage together.
A few blocks away, other music fans flocked to the Footprint Center to catch Bleachers and Paramore launch the first night Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest presented by On Location.
Other artists who took part in the three-night music festival included Kane Brown, Imagine Dragons and Dave Matthews Band.
The festivities continued across the Valley in Old Town Scottsdale on Thursday with a late night performance by Tyga at Maya Dayclub. Around the corner from W Scottsdale, Pepsi Zero Sugar hosted a G-Eazy show, which brought in celebrities like Mario Lopez, Scott Eastwood, Cedric The Entertainer, Kevin Federline and many more.
“G Eazy was of course flirting with all the girls,” a source exclusively told Page Six. “He was blowing kisses and everything.”
Friday night was also filled with events taking place across the city. New mom Paris Hilton surprised partygoers – like newly engaged couple Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker – At Uber One Party at Phoenix.
The “Simple Life” alum took the stage for a seductive performance of “Stars Are Blind” with the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, following stage appearances from Donna Lewis, Kelis, Montell Jordan and Haddaway.
Shaquille O’Neal’s annual “Shaq’s Fun House” also brought large numbers to the Talking Stick Resort on Friday night for the music-meet-carnival festival presented by Netspend.
Michael Phelps, Allen Iverson, Chandler Parsons and more walked the red carpet before heading inside to see Snoop Dogg, Diplo and DJ Diesel (aka Shaq) perform in front of a crowd of over 5,000 fans , athletes and celebrities.
But all the hype on Friday came from Drake Headliner Set at h.wood Group and Uncommon Entertainment’s annual Homecoming Show, held in a luxury private jet hangar in Scottsdale.
The rapper took the stage at 1 a.m. and sang a medley of his most popular songs, including “God’s Plan,” “Rich Flex,” “In My Feelings,” and “Best I Ever Had.”
Celebrities spotted in the star-studded crowd included Cher, Alexander “AE” Edwards, Serena Williams and Michael Strahan.
MGK and Fox were also pictured at the event, marking the last time they were seen together in public before breakup rumors spread like wildfire. Shared speculation began after the actress shared a cryptic post on Instagram, deleted all photos of her fiancé from her stream and eventually deactivated his account.
However, the alleged drama did not stop MGK from performing a night later at Sports Illustrated’s The Party. The rocker wowed the crowd with a list of hits including ‘My Ex’s Best Friend’, ‘Forget Me Too’, ‘El Diablo’, ‘Maybe’ and ‘God Save Me’.
A source confirmed to Page Six that Fox was not on hand for the performance and did not accompany MGK on the red carpet. However, the ‘Jennifer’s Body’ star was never on the party’s initial tip sheet, which was sent out weeks before the alleged split.
One of the most exclusive parties of the whole weekend – Michael Rubin’s Star-Studded Fanatic Party — kicked off hours earlier at the swanky Arizona Biltmore.
Jay-Z, Teyana Taylor, Kevin Durant, Winnie Harlow, Kevin Hart, Dixie A’melio, Paul Rudd and New England Patriots CEO Robert Kraft were all spotted inside party. The event also featured musical performances from Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Meek Mill, J Balvin, A$AP Ferg, The Chainsmokers and more.

The same evening, MAXIM, Tao Group Hospitality and unKommon events teamed up for the “Big Game Party: Catch Me If You Can” at the Southwest Jet Center in Scottsdale.
With performances from Zedd, Offset, Loud Luxury and more, the event drew everyone from Cher to Bobby Flay, Gordon Ramsay and Jalen Rose.
The festivities ended with various tailgate parties – hosted by Flay and Guy Fieri – at locations within walking distance of State Farm Stadium in Glendale, where celebrities witnessed the Kansas City Chiefs. win Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Other stars, like Adele, Cardi B And Cara Delevingneapparently only attended the big game to catch “Rihanna’s concert.”
