These pre-order perks may have ended, but you can still get a gift card to use later
The Samsung Galaxy S23 phones are here and can be ordered anywhere – and while those free storage pre-order upgrades are gone, that doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on some decent deals. In fact, there are a few retailers that still offer gift cards and other perks to lure you in.
Samsung Galaxy S23 models start at $800 and go all the way up to $1,620, so it all depends on your budget and which model you want to get.
Galaxy S23
Kicking off the list with the smallest model in the new S23 series, the Galaxy S23 comes in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. The first option will cost you $800, while you’ll have to shell out $860 for the second.
Amazon and Best Buy both offer $50 gift cards to shoppers, trying to entice you into choosing them over their competitors. You can use the $50 towards any future purchases, so you can use the money to buy an S23 case or a screen protector, for example. Best Buy is sweetening the deal even further by also giving users access to a four-month free trial for Amazon Music Unlimited and three months of Google One cloud storage.

Then the Galaxy S23+ also comes in two storage options i.e. 256GB and 512GB. You will have to pay $1000 or $1200 for your brand new phone.
The sting of spending more than a grand on a phone should go away once you find out that Amazon and Best Buy are offering shoppers a gift card. The value of this card is $100, so you get quite a bit of money back. As was the case with the standard S23, Best Buy is also offering limited time access to Amazon Music Unlimited and Google One, so if that’s something you want to try you might want to head over to their page.

Exchange Options
It is possible to lower the price further if you have an old phone available to trade in. Best Buy is willing to give you up to $600 for your old phone, while Amazon is offering up to $400. These are the prices available for the most recent phone models, so if you have a device a few years ago, you are not approaching these values.
