The couple’s appearance marked the first time they had appeared at the awards show since 2020.
However, all eyes were on kate as she was caught giving her husband a cheeky slap on the butt.

The couple’s intimate moment sent royal fans into a frenzy as one fan tweeted: “Love it! Kate gives William a little pat on the ass #BAFTA2023.

Lip-reader Sophia Martell has revealed what she thinks Kate said to Prince William, moments before gently touching him at the BAFTAs.

sophie said FEMAIL that the princess was recreating an exchange she had seen in the crowd.
The expert said Kate asked William if he also saw what she spotted, before giving him a demonstration of what she saw.
Sophia claims Kate said, “That man – he patted her on the butt.”
Leaning closer, William asked: “Has he?”
According to Sophia, Kate then patted the Prince on the buttocks to piece together what she had seen, before saying, “That was so funny.”
