The first one No Man’s Sky the 2023 update is called Fractaland it will go live on all platforms on Wednesday, February 22. Fractal brings a host of changes, many of which are aimed at improving VR gaming.

Fractal includes the Utopia Speeder, a spacecraft that flies over a planet’s surface at high speed, which is ideal for exploring a homeworld or discovering a beautiful paradise. There’s also a Wonders Catalog, which shows a player’s discovery records across planets. Explorers can look back at past planets, look at great heights and strange beasts.

The Switch, PlayStation, and Steam Deck versions of No Man’s Sky also support gyroscopic controls, and Switch players also have access to Nexus and Quicksilver missions as well as the “Trace of Metal” story.

Finally, there’s a new expedition called Utopia, where players work together to rebuild an abandoned solar system for the enigmatic Utopia Foundation.
