
It looks like the Los Angeles Rams are indeed considering trading one of their key players this offseason.
Cornerback All-Pro Jalen Ramsey been the subject of trade rumors in recent weeks. Despite his highly successful four-year run at La La Land, the Rams are apparently looking to move up from the All-Pro cornerback.
According to a report by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Los Angeles held “trade talks” over Ramsey. Sources also told Pelissero that a trade with Ramsey would likely be completed “in the coming weeks.”

The Rams acquired the superstar corner from the Jacksonville Jaguars in a trade at the start of the 2019 season. Ramsey signed a lucrative five-year contract extension worth $20 million in 2020, and he has earned every penny of this deal to date.
Widely considered the best cornerback in the NFL, Ramsey led the Rams to a Super Bowl 56 championship last season. In four seasons with the Rams (57 games overall), the 28-year-old recorded 10 interceptions and 47 defensive passes.
The Rams are coming off a disappointing season in which they won only five games. Their 12 losses are the most ever by a defending Super Bowl champion. It looks like a forgettable season for the franchise will bring some drastic changes, starting with their All-Pro corner.
